Citrus-Marinated Fish Tacos
Soft flour tortillas filled with citrus-marinated fish, fresh vegetables, and creamy sauce. Lime and orange acidity balances tender flaked fish in warm handhelds.
Ingredients
Method
Pat fish dry and place in shallow bowl. Whisk together lime juice, orange juice, olive oil, and minced garlic. Pour marinade over fish, turn to coat evenly, and refrigerate for 20 minutes.
Heat a skillet or grill over medium-high heat. Remove fish from marinade, letting excess drip off. Cook for 4–5 minutes per side until opaque and flaking easily with a fork.
Gently break cooked fish into bite-sized flakes with a fork or tongs, keeping pieces intact as much as possible.
Warm tortillas over a gas flame, griddle, or wrapped in a damp paper towel in the microwave (30–45 seconds) until pliable.
Place a warm tortilla on a plate. Layer flaked fish, shredded cabbage, cucumber, red onion, and cilantro down the center.
Drizzle cilantro-lime crema over fillings and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Serve with lime wedges on the side.
