Garlic Butter Steak Bites
Tender beef tenderloin cubes seared and finished with garlic-infused butter sauce. Served hot with choice of vegetable side and finishing garnish.
Ingredients
Method
Cut beef tenderloin into 1.5-inch cubes and pat dry with paper towels. Season all sides evenly with salt and black pepper.
Mince garlic finely. Prepare your chosen vegetable side for cooking. Chop fresh herb garnish and zest or juice the lemon.
Heat a cast-iron skillet or heavy-bottomed pan over medium-high heat for 2 minutes until very hot.
Add 2 tbsp butter to the pan. Once melted and foaming, add steak cubes in a single layer without crowding; work in batches if needed.
Sear each side 2–3 minutes until a golden-brown crust forms. Transfer cooked steak to a plate; do not overcrowd the pan.
Return all steak to the pan over low heat. Add remaining 2 tbsp butter and minced garlic; swirl constantly for 1–2 minutes until fragrant and garlic is light golden.
Plate steak bites with garlic butter sauce spooned over top. Arrange vegetable side alongside.
Garnish with fresh herbs and lemon zest or a squeeze of juice. Serve immediately while hot.
