Method
Prepare your base (rice, pasta, quinoa, etc.) according to package directions if not already cooked.
Prep your chosen vegetables by dicing, slicing, or cutting into bite-sized pieces.
Pat shrimp dry with paper towels and season lightly with salt and black pepper.
Heat butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat until foaming.
Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant, stirring constantly.
Add shrimp to the pan in a single layer and cook for 2–3 minutes on the first side without stirring.
Flip shrimp and cook for another 1–2 minutes until opaque and pink; transfer to a plate.
In the same pan, sauté your chosen vegetables for 3–5 minutes until tender-crisp, stirring occasionally.
Return shrimp to the pan and squeeze in lemon juice; toss gently to combine and heat through for 1 minute.
Add red pepper flakes if using; taste and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper.
Divide your chosen base among serving bowls or plates.
Top with garlic butter shrimp and vegetables; garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve immediately.
