Greek Chicken Souvlaki Wrap
Grilled chicken skewers with lemon, oregano, and garlic wrapped in flatbread with cucumber and tomato. Served warm with tzatziki sauce and fresh herbs.
Ingredients
Method
Cut chicken into 1.5-inch cubes and place in a mixing bowl.
Whisk together lemon juice, olive oil, minced garlic, oregano, salt, and black pepper in a small bowl.
Pour marinade over chicken, toss to coat evenly, and let sit for at least 15 minutes (or up to 4 hours in the refrigerator).
Thread marinated chicken onto skewers, leaving a small gap between pieces for even cooking.
Heat grill to medium-high heat and lightly oil the grates.
Grill skewers for 12–15 minutes, turning every 3–4 minutes, until chicken is cooked through and lightly charred on all sides.
While chicken cooks, dice cucumber and tomato; thinly slice red onion; chop parsley; and crumble feta cheese.
Warm pita bread on the grill or in a dry skillet for 30 seconds per side until soft and pliable.
Lay a warm pita on a flat surface and spread a thin layer of tzatziki sauce on it.
Remove chicken from skewers and place 4–5 pieces in the center of each pita.
Top with cucumber, tomato, red onion, parsley, and feta cheese.
Drizzle with additional tzatziki sauce, fold pita to enclose filling, and serve immediately.
