Pan-seared salmon fillet glazed with hot honey and served with roasted vegetables. The dish delivers crispy skin and tender flesh with a sweet-spicy glaze.
Ingredients
Method
Preheat oven to 400°F. Pat salmon fillets dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt and black pepper.
Toss chopped vegetables with 1 tbsp olive oil, salt, and pepper. Spread on a sheet pan.
In a small bowl, whisk together honey, minced garlic, and red pepper flakes.
Place sheet pan with vegetables in the oven; roast for 12 minutes.
Heat remaining 1 tbsp olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once shimmering, place salmon skin-side up in the pan. Sear for 4 minutes until skin crisps.
Flip salmon and cook for 2 minutes. Brush the hot honey mixture onto each fillet.
Transfer skillet to the oven. Bake for 5–7 minutes until salmon reaches an internal temperature of 145°F.
Remove vegetables from oven; portion onto serving plates alongside salmon.
Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the salmon and vegetables. Garnish with chopped herbs and sesame seeds. Serve warm.
