Ingredients
Method
Cook rice according to package directions if not already cooked. Mince garlic and ginger. Slice green onion, separating white and light green parts from dark green tops.
Heat sesame oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and cook, breaking it apart with a spoon, until browned and cooked through (about 6–8 minutes). Drain any excess fat if needed.
Add minced garlic and ginger to the beef and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
Pour in soy sauce, sugar, and rice vinegar. Stir well and simmer for 2–3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly and coats the beef.
Divide cooked rice among bowls. Top each bowl with seasoned beef.
Arrange choice of vegetable on top of the beef. Garnish with sesame seeds and green onion tops. Serve warm.
