Lemon Pepper Wings
Crispy fried poultry wings coated in lemon, black pepper, and garlic. Wings are deep-fried until golden, then tossed in a tangy, peppery seasoning blend.
Ingredients
Method
Pat chicken wings dry with paper towels; this promotes crispness during frying.
In a small bowl, whisk together lemon juice, black pepper, garlic powder, and salt.
Heat vegetable oil in a large heavy pot to 350°F. Working in batches, carefully place wings in hot oil without crowding the pan.
Fry for 12–15 minutes per batch until wings are golden brown and internal temperature reaches 165°F. Transfer to a paper-towel-lined plate to drain.
Toss warm wings with melted butter and the lemon-pepper seasoning mixture until evenly coated.
Transfer to a serving platter. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese and green onion. Serve immediately.
