Pesto Turkey Pasta Bake
Baked pasta with ground turkey, pesto, and melted cheese in a single dish. Assembled and baked until the top is golden and the filling is heated through.
Ingredients
Method
Preheat the oven to 375°F. Cook the pasta according to package directions, drain, and set aside.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add diced onion and cook until softened, about 4 minutes. Stir in minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
Add ground turkey to the skillet, breaking it up as it cooks, until no pink remains, about 8–10 minutes. Drain excess fat if needed.
Stir in the pesto and marinara sauce until combined. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
In a 9x13 baking dish, combine the cooked pasta with the turkey-pesto mixture. Toss until evenly coated.
Top with shredded mozzarella and grated parmesan cheese, distributing evenly.
Bake uncovered for 25–35 minutes until the cheese is melted and the top is golden brown.
Remove from the oven and let rest for 5 minutes. Garnish with fresh basil if desired and serve warm.
