Ingredients
Method
Cut your chosen protein into 1/2-inch strips. Dice cucumber, tomato, and parsley; thinly slice red onion. Have your cooked grain base ready.
Heat 2 tbsp olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Toss protein strips with shawarma spice blend, then add to the hot skillet. Cook for 8–12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until cooked through and lightly charred on edges.
Divide cooked grain base between bowls and form a bed.
Top with cooked protein strips, then arrange cucumber, tomato, red onion, and fresh parsley around the bowl.
Drizzle tahini-lemon dressing generously over the bowl. Garnish with sesame seeds and pickled red onions if using. Serve with lemon wedges on the side.
