Baked Chicken Breast
Bone-in or boneless chicken breast baked with seasonings and a liquid base until cooked through. The meat stays moist inside while the exterior develops a light golden surface.
Ingredients
Method
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Pat chicken breasts dry with paper towels. Arrange in a baking dish in a single layer.
In a small bowl, combine minced garlic, lemon juice, chopped rosemary, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Brush this mixture evenly over both sides of the chicken.
Drizzle olive oil over the chicken. Scatter sliced onion and carrot around the chicken in the dish.
Pour chicken broth into the dish around (not over) the chicken.
Bake uncovered for 30–35 minutes, until an instant-read thermometer inserted into the thickest part of a breast reads 165°F (74°C).
Remove from oven and let rest for 3 minutes. Serve chicken with the pan vegetables and broth spooned over the top.
