Method
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the spaghetti according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and brown the ground turkey, breaking it apart as it cooks, until no pink remains (about 8 minutes). Stir in minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
Add marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper to the meat mixture. Simmer for 5 minutes, then remove from heat.
In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese, beaten egg, 1 cup of mozzarella, and half of the Parmesan cheese. Stir until smooth.
Preheat oven to 375°F. Spread a thin layer of meat sauce on the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish.
Layer half of the cooked spaghetti over the sauce, then spread half of the ricotta mixture over the pasta.
Add half of the remaining meat sauce, then layer the remaining spaghetti and ricotta mixture.
Top with the remaining meat sauce, remaining 1 cup mozzarella, and remaining Parmesan cheese.
Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 10 minutes until the cheese is melted and lightly golden.
Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
