Cajun Chicken Pasta
Pasta tossed with seasoned chicken, bell peppers, and onions in a spiced cream sauce. Sautéed and finished stovetop in under 30 minutes.
Ingredients
Method
Bring a large pot of salted water to boil. Cook pasta according to package directions until al dente; drain and set aside.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season chicken with salt and pepper, then cook until golden and cooked through, about 8–10 minutes; transfer to a plate.
In the same skillet, sauté onion and bell pepper until softened, about 4 minutes. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
Stir in paprika, cayenne, oregano, and thyme; cook for 30 seconds to bloom the spices.
Pour in broth and cream, stirring to combine. Return chicken to the skillet and simmer for 3–4 minutes until sauce thickens slightly.
Add cooked pasta to the sauce and toss until evenly coated. Season with additional salt and pepper to taste.
Divide among serving bowls. Top with grated Parmesan and sliced green onion. Serve hot.
