Preheat oven to 350°F. Cook egg noodles according to package directions, drain, and set aside.
Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground beef, breaking it into crumbles as it cooks, until browned, about 5–7 minutes. Drain excess fat if needed.
Add diced onion and minced garlic to the beef; sauté until softened, about 2 minutes.
Stir in ketchup, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, salt, black pepper, and onion powder. Simmer for 2 minutes.
In a 9×13 baking dish, combine the cooked noodles with the beef mixture and 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese; stir until evenly distributed.
Top with remaining 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese.
Bake uncovered for 20–25 minutes, until the cheese is melted and the edges begin to bubble.
Let rest for 3 minutes before serving.
