Ingredients
Method
Preheat oven to 350°F. Cook spaghetti according to package directions, drain, and set aside.
Dice onion and mince garlic.
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Brown ground meat with onion and garlic until meat is no longer pink, about 8 minutes. Drain excess fat.
Stir in marinara sauce, salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning. Simmer for 5 minutes.
In a bowl, combine softened cream cheese, egg, and half of the Parmesan cheese. Stir until smooth.
Spread a thin layer of meat sauce on the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish.
Layer half the cooked spaghetti over the sauce.
Spread half the cream cheese mixture over the spaghetti.
Add half the mozzarella cheese.
Repeat layers: remaining meat sauce, remaining spaghetti, remaining cream cheese mixture, and remaining mozzarella.
Sprinkle remaining Parmesan cheese on top.
Bake uncovered for 30–35 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the top is lightly golden.
Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
