Chicken Bacon Ranch Pasta

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cut chicken into bite-sized pieces and chop bacon.
Cook pasta according to package directions until al dente; drain and set aside.
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook bacon until crispy, about 5–7 minutes. Transfer to a paper towel; set aside.
In the same skillet with bacon fat, heat olive oil. Add minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
Add chicken pieces and cook until golden and cooked through, 8–10 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
Reduce heat to low. Stir in ranch dressing, parmesan, and heavy cream (if using) until combined and warm.
Add cooked pasta and cooked bacon to the skillet; toss until coated.
Transfer to serving bowls. Garnish with sliced green onion and additional parmesan if desired.
