Bang Bang Shrimp
Crispy fried shrimp coated in a spicy, tangy bang bang sauce made with sriracha, mayo, and lime. Served with a choice of protein and vegetable accompaniments.
Ingredients
Method
Pat shrimp dry with paper towels.
In a shallow dish, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and black pepper.
In a large bowl, combine sriracha, mayonnaise, lime juice, honey, and minced garlic to make the bang bang sauce; set aside.
Heat oil in a medium saucepan or wok to 350°F.
Working in batches, coat shrimp in the flour mixture, shaking off excess, and carefully lower into hot oil.
Fry until golden and crispy, about 2–3 minutes, turning halfway. Transfer to paper towels to drain.
Add warm fried shrimp to the bowl with bang bang sauce and toss until evenly coated.
Transfer to a serving platter and top with diced bell pepper if using.
Garnish with sliced green onion and sesame seeds. Serve warm.
