Breakfast Charcuterie Board
An assembled board of cured meats, cheeses, fresh fruit, and bread. Served cold, ready to eat without further cooking.
Ingredients
Method
Slice the cured ham into bite-sized pieces or ribbons.
Cut the cheddar cheese into 1-inch cubes or 1/4-inch slices.
Remove the cream cheese block from the refrigerator 5 minutes before plating; leave it whole or scoop into a small bowl.
Slice the apple into thin wedges; halve or quarter the strawberries; leave the grapes whole.
Arrange the cured ham and cheddar cheese in clusters on the board, leaving space between sections.
Group the fresh fruit (apples, strawberries, and grapes) in separate areas on the board.
Place the bread slices and crackers in a section on the board.
Set the cream cheese and condiments (honey and mustard) in small bowls or directly on the board.
Serve the board cold at the table, allowing guests to assemble their own combinations of meat, cheese, fruit, and bread.
