Method
If cooking bacon and chicken, prepare these proteins first. Cook bacon until crispy, drain, and chop. Cook chicken breast by grilling, poaching, or pan-searing until internal temperature reaches 165°F, then chop into bite-sized pieces.
If using hard-boiled eggs, cook them in boiling water for 10–12 minutes until fully set, then cool, peel, and chop.
Chop the romaine lettuce into 1-inch pieces and place in a large bowl or on a serving plate.
Arrange all chopped vegetables and toppings in rows or clusters over the lettuce: cherry tomatoes, cucumber, red cabbage, red onion, avocado, bacon, chicken, eggs, and cheese.
Sprinkle sunflower seeds or alternative seeds over the top.
Drizzle with ranch dressing or your chosen dressing, or serve dressing on the side. Toss gently to combine and serve immediately.
