Garlic Butter Shrimp Pasta
Shrimp coated in garlic butter sauce tossed with pasta. Hot pasta absorbs the buttery sauce and aromatics.
Ingredients
Method
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
Mince garlic and juice the lemon.
Add pasta to boiling water and cook according to package directions until al dente; drain and set aside, reserving 1 cup pasta water.
While pasta cooks, heat 3 tbsp butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat until foaming.
Add minced garlic to the skillet and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant, stirring constantly.
Add shrimp and cook for 2–3 minutes per side until pink and cooked through; season with salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.
Remove skillet from heat and stir in remaining 3 tbsp butter and lemon juice.
Add cooked pasta to the shrimp and toss gently, adding pasta water 1/4 cup at a time until the sauce coats the noodles.
Stir in grated Parmesan and adjust seasoning to taste.
Divide pasta between bowls and top with fresh parsley and sliced green onion.
