Method
Preheat oven to 425°F. Place the flour tortilla on a baking sheet.
Brush the tortilla lightly with olive oil on both sides. Minced garlic may be stirred into the oil before brushing.
Spread tomato sauce evenly across the oiled tortilla, leaving a thin border.
Distribute torn or sliced mozzarella cheese over the sauce. Season lightly with salt and pepper.
Bake for 10–12 minutes until the crust is firm and lightly browned and the cheese is melted.
Remove from oven and tear fresh basil leaves over the top. Serve warm.
