Scrambled Eggs and Toast
Soft scrambled eggs paired with toasted bread. Eggs cook gently over low heat while bread toasts to golden-brown crispness.
Ingredients
Method
Crack eggs into a bowl and whisk until yolks and whites are fully combined. Season with salt and pepper.
Toast bread to golden brown using a toaster or broiler.
Melt 1 tbsp butter in a skillet over medium-low heat.
Pour in whisked eggs and let sit for 20 seconds without stirring.
Gently push cooked portions toward the center, tilting the pan so uncooked egg flows to edges. Repeat every 20–30 seconds for 2–3 minutes until eggs are soft and creamy. Add remaining butter in the last 10 seconds of cooking.
Spread butter on toasted bread and arrange on serving plate.
Divide scrambled eggs between the two slices of toast and serve immediately.
