Shrimp and pasta in a creamy sauce made from butter, cream, and Parmesan cheese. Sauce coats tender pasta and shrimp in a rich, smooth finish.
Ingredients
Method
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
Pat shrimp dry with paper towels and season with salt and pepper.
Mince garlic and grate Parmesan; chop fresh parsley.
Add pasta to boiling water and cook until al dente, about 8–10 minutes; drain in a colander and set aside.
Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat; add minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
Add shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2–3 minutes per side until pink and cooked through; transfer to a plate.
Pour heavy cream into the skillet over medium-low heat and bring to a gentle simmer, stirring occasionally.
Remove skillet from heat and whisk in Parmesan cheese until fully incorporated and smooth; season with salt, pepper, and lemon juice.
Add cooked pasta and shrimp to the sauce, tossing gently to coat evenly.
Divide among bowls or plates and garnish with fresh parsley and additional Parmesan if desired.
