Chicken Caesar Salad
A salad of greens, chicken protein, and cheese tossed with caesar dressing. Vegetables and bread elements add crunch and structure to the base.
Ingredients
Method
Wash and dry the romaine lettuce; chop or tear into bite-sized pieces.
If using fresh chicken, cook, cool, and slice or cube. If using pre-cooked rotisserie chicken, remove skin and shred or cube.
Cube bread and toast in a dry pan over medium heat for 2–3 minutes until golden, or use store-bought croutons.
Halve cherry tomatoes and prepare any other fresh vegetables.
Place romaine in a large bowl; add chicken, tomato, and optional vegetables.
Drizzle with caesar dressing and toss until well coated.
Transfer to plates; top with croutons and grated parmesan; finish with black pepper and lemon juice if desired.
