A composed platter of cured or cooked proteins, cheeses, fresh and cooked vegetables, nuts, and crackers arranged for sharing. Components are pre-cooked or assembled cold, requiring no final cooking.
Ingredients
Method
Slice or portion the protein into bite-sized pieces or thin slices; arrange on one side or section of the board.
Cut or break cheese into bite-sized chunks or thin slices; place in a separate section of the board.
Pour the spread or dip into a small bowl; place on the board with a small spoon for serving.
Drain cured or fermented vegetables if needed; arrange in a bowl or section on the board.
Wash and cut fresh vegetables into sticks, slices, or florets; arrange in a section of the board.
Toast nuts or seeds lightly if desired; pour into a small bowl or scatter on the board.
Wash and pat dry fresh fruit; slice, quarter, or leave whole depending on size; arrange in sections or scattered across the board.
Arrange crackers or bread slices in a cluster at one corner or edge of the board.
Cover loosely with plastic wrap until ready to serve. Present with small plates, napkins, and serving utensils.
