Truffle Burger
A gourmet burger with a beef patty, truffle-infused butter, and swappable toppings and buns. Grilled or pan-seared, assembled with customizable condiments and produce.
Ingredients
Method
Divide ground beef into 4 equal portions; gently form each into a patty about 3/4 inch thick with a slight indent in the center. Season both sides with salt and pepper just before cooking.
Toast buns lightly on the grill or in a dry skillet, cut-side down, until golden and firm. Brush cut sides with softened truffle butter.
Heat grill or skillet to medium-high. Place patties on the hot surface and cook for 3–4 minutes without moving until a crust forms.
Flip patties and cook for 2–3 minutes more for medium (internal temperature 160°F). If using cheese, place a slice on each patty in the last minute and cover to melt.
Spread special burger sauce on both toasted bun halves. Layer bottom bun with lettuce, tomato slices, red onion, and pickles.
Place warm patty on vegetables. Top with a small dollop of truffle butter if desired, then cap with the top bun.
Serve immediately while warm.
